Sarah tells a story about Edith, how her parents thought she was very ugly and "fretted constantly over the fact that marriage would not be in her future." She "endured a miserable, lonely and frustrated childhood until her beloved governess introduced her to the world of literature and music. She fell in love with...poetry...and in so doing fell in love with her authentic self."
She was famous for her eccentric and flamboyant style,
although it's not for all of us.
"But her glorious way of celebrating her authentic self and of accentuating the positive can speak to every woman...
Do you accentuate your assents?
...
Discover, flaunt, and celebrate your authentic assets."
You best believe I'm trying.

1) The Library. It truly takes a village. I'm grateful for great resources. And books. Jacob sat with me almost the entire time just reading books with me, while the twins literally were climbing the walls.
2) Good friends, with children the same age, who run and play together.
3) Dirt, and dirty little hands and knees and faces.
4) Lunchables. I made a crazy decision that after story time I was going to go to the grocery story. Well by then it was almost 1 o'clock, and they were starving. Thank goodness we were at the grocery store. And buying food. And lunchables.
5) Robbie. He came home early to help with the kids. They refused to take a nap after we got home, I tried for two hours...and he just showed up as if he was psychic, gave me a break. And then we tried to get the kids down early, since they didn't have a nap...they refused to go down. More crying. Robbie stayed calm and cool, pulled up Elmo on Youtube, and Riley combed my hair. He has gotten up like 10 times, and I've only gotten up like 3 times. He's pretty awesome.
